D. Scott Kimball
Scott has over two decades on Wall Street in transactions concerning asset management, trading, mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, IR, venture capital and private equity. While at Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank (Alex. Brown and Sons), JP Morgan Chase (Bear Stearns), he was a member of teams that took more than thirty six companies to the public markets including: Salesforce.com and Ralph Lauren. While at Merrill Lynch, he was the co-creator and led the placement of capital for an exchange-traded creative derivative instrument now commonly referred to as Principal Protected Securities. He is a former professional baseball player with the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Organization and his areas of focus and research are in consumer trends, health, wellness, fitness, human performance, and high margin business models. He is a published author, writing two books for Wall Street published by Dearborn Trade Press (a Washington Post Company). Kimball is a graduate of UCLA in Political Science with studies in Economics, Philosophy, and Statistics and attended the SIA program at Wharton Business School, led by Jeremy Siegel. He supports the Navy SEAL Association, UCLA Alumni Association, OCEANA and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
